From the early days of our time at The Red House we have endeavoured to use produce from the surrounding local area to make the dishes we produce as traditional and "just like grandma used to cook" them as possible.

One of our aim's here at The Red House is to offer you only the very best in local cask ales. What sets cask ale apart from draught beers, such as Lager's and Smooth Bitters, is that cask ale is still developing even as you drink it. Made with differnet hops and malt, the variation in flavours is endless. Some of the cask ales that we have on offer are from such local breweries as "The Titanic Brewery" or the "Peakstones Rock Brewery"....

The Red House's 1st Medieval Night took place in March this year and featured the 14 bird roast.
